ABA Machine Category E1 and E2
Multi Level Order Pickers are used within warehouse environments for the purpose of picking stock from different heights within industrial racking systems.
Here at Inline Training we can train your operators in the correct use of two different types of Multi Level Order Picker. These are set out under the following ABA Machine Categories:
- Medium Lift Order Picking trucks with a lift height of up to 2.5m ABA Machine Category (E1)
- High Lift Order Picking trucks with a lift height over 2.5m ABA Machine Category (E2)

Refresher Training ABA Category (E1) (E2)
This course is designed to cater for experienced operators who wish to re-test and refresh their driving skills in accordance with recommended safe operating practice. The HSE recommends this course be completed every 3 to 5 years (as specified in HSG6).
This course may also be suitable for operators who have not used forklift trucks for some time, are occasional users of forklift trucks, appear to have developed unsafe operating practices and those who have had an accident or near miss.
Course Duration: 0.5 to 1 day (usually 09:00 to 16:30).
Maximum operators: 3.
Delivery Method: Classroom & Practical training & Assessment.
Location: Customer premises only.
Pre requisites: evidence of previous certification.
Assessment: multiple choice & written paper, practical skills test.
Certification: Successful operators will receive a certificate of training. Plastic Training Cards are available upon request for an additional cost.

Novice Course ABA Category (E1) (E2)
This course is designed for operators with no previous experience operating forklift trucks.
Course Duration: 3 to 5 days (usually 09:00 to 16:30).
Maximum operators: 3.
Delivery Method: Classroom & Practical training & Assessment.
Location: Customer premises.
Pre requisites: none.
Assessment: multiple choice & written paper, practical skills test.
Certification: Successful operators will receive a certificate of training. Plastic Training Cards are available upon request for an additional cost.

Experienced Uncertified Operators Course ABA Category (E1) (E2)
This course is designed for existing operators with some previous experience (possibly self taught) of using a forklift truck, but have not had the benefit of formal training in operating skills. They will be familiar with the general operating characteristics of the forklift truck.
Course Duration: 2 to 3 days (usually 09:00 to 16:30).
Maximum operators: 3.
Delivery Method: Classroom & Practical training & Assessment.
Location: Customer premises.
Pre requisites: Practical skills assessment.
Assessment: multiple choice & written paper, practical skills test.
Certification: Successful operators will receive a certificate of training. Plastic Training Cards are available upon request for an additional cost.

Conversion to ABA Category (E1) (E2)
This course is designed for qualified operators who hold current certification and need to transfer their and extend their existing skills to different machine categories. For example a qualified category (B1)counterbalance operator, who now needs to convert to using a category (D1) Reach truck.
Course Duration: 1 to 2 days (usually 09:00 to 16:30).
Maximum operators: 3.

Assessment: multiple choice & written paper, practical skills test.
